The House & Building Wash Company offers a wide range of exterior cleaning services applicable to residential, body corporate, and commercial buildings.
Exterior Soft Washing
For our standard exterior house cleaning service, all painted exterior walls are soft washed from gutter to ground, including exterior gutters, spouting, downpipes, eaves/soffits, entrance alcoves, joinery, and the base of the house.
First, we apply a combination of the following three cleaning products:

A salt-based cleaning product that kills mould and fungi spores, thereby retarding the return of green algae and black fungi.

A grease-cutting citrus solution that breaks down residues such as diesel from nearby traffic, road dust, and barbecue splatter.

A neutral, environmentally friendly detergent that dissolves dirt and grime.
After applying the cleaning agents, we wash off the surfaces with low-pressure water in a wide, soft fan—this is known as a Soft Wash. All exterior glass is flushed off with fresh water to remove residue. Note, however, that this glass flush-down is not a proper window cleaning (see: Exterior Window Cleaning).
Older timber window frames and door frames (the kind of joinery typically found on villas and bungalows) have a tendency to leak when washed, so we hand clean around timber joinery with a soft brush and a hose. To make certain we avoid any water egress, we do recommend you put old towels down on the inside sills to minimise potential leakage. This is not necessary for aluminium joinery.
