Roof surfaces are Soft Washed. First we apply a combination of the following three cleaning agents to the roof surface:
We then wash off the same surfaces with LOW pressure water: Soft Wash Inside roof. gutters/spoutings are cleaned and the downpipes are flushed out with a drain snake (plumbers tool) if/as necessary as standard with any roof wash.
This service is suitable for Corrugated Iron, Colour Steel, Decromastic (pre-paint), Concrete Tile and Butanol roofs. Where a property is on tank water we will either disconnect and/or block off the downpipes to avoid drinking water contamination.
A safety harness rigging fee will apply when we are Roof Washing
We spray a specifically formulated product onto the roof surface designed to kill lichen and moss. The rest is left to nature, after 12 months the rain, sun and wind gradually break down and wash/blow/rot away the dead roof lichen and moss leaving the roof looking fresh and clean again.

The photo in the circle to the right is a pressed metal tile roof (metal imitation tiles) which was partially treated using the described process.
This treatment is suitable for Corrugated Iron, Colour Steel, Decromastic, Pressed Metal Imitation Tile, Concrete Tile, Slate Tile, Terracotta Tile, Butanol and Cedar Shingle roofs. A small percentage (less than 10%) of roofs require a booster treatment which can be undertaken 12-18 months after the original treatment for a small additional cost.
A safety harness rigging fee may be quoted dependant on our need to climb onto the roof to apply the treatment. Smaller rooves can often be treated/sprayed from the top of a climbing frame, on the side of the building whereas we need to walk on larger rooves (whilst using safety harness rigging equipment).
This service is NOT suitable for properties where water is collected from the roof for drinking i.e. properties on tank water.
